Seder in the Streets: MELT Pharaoh's ICEy Heart!

RSVP FOR THE 5786 SEDER IN THE STREETS!

Join JFREJ on the 6th night of Pesach for our annual Seder in the Streets! This year, we are using the ancient technology of the Seder to gather as Jewish New Yorkers and community to demand an end to local corporate collusion with ICE and the federal government’s fascist deportation and detention machine.

We have many pharaohs in our midst, and their hearts have been hardened. But we also have the fiery power of the people. The Exodus story teaches us that freeing ourselves and our neighbors from enslavement requires organized resistance. As our comrade Joshua Blaine sings, “We get there together or never get there at all.”

WHEN: Monday April 6th, 5-7pm

WHERE: Lower Manhattan, exact location will be shared with RSVP

WHAT: There will be a program of speakers and ritual, some Pesach spectacle, and a short march. Family-friendly, and all are welcome.
